A Commitment to Responsible Energy Leadership

Sustainability at UCEP is not a program or a marketing position — it is a set of deeply held principles that shape how we advise clients, manage resources, and engage with the communities around us.

| SUSTAINABILITY

UCEP's sustainability framework is built on three interconnected pillars — Decarbonization & Performance, Stewardship & Integrity, and Community Impact.

Decarbonization & Performance

Environmental responsibility and business performance are not in conflict — they are mutually reinforcing.

UCEP helps commercial and industrial organizations quantify, reduce, and report greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all three scopes of the GHG Protocol — providing both the technical analysis and procurement strategy needed to meet regulatory obligations, investor requirements, and voluntary decarbonization commitments. We evaluate your full emissions profile, energy sourcing mix, and operational efficiency to build a roadmap that delivers measurable environmental reduction alongside economic return — not one at the expense of the other.

SCOPE 1 – DIRECT EMISSIONS
Emissions from owned or controlled sources — combustion, backup generation, and fleet. UCEP supports fuel switching, renewable integration, and CHP optimization to reduce direct emission exposure at the facility level.
SCOPE 2 – PURCHASED ENERGY
Indirect emissions from purchased electricity and thermal energy — UCEP’s primary lever. Through RECs and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), we align your consumption with clean generation and support both market-based and location-based Scope 2 reporting.
SCOPE 3 – VALUE CHAINS EMISSIONS
Indirect emissions across your value chain. UCEP provides Scope 3 inventory support, supplier engagement advisory, and data infrastructure for organizations pursuing CDP disclosure, RE100, and Science Based Targets (SBTi) commitments.
ESG & REPORTING FRAMEWORKS
We align clients with the GHG Protocol, CDP, SBTi, RE100, and emerging SEC climate disclosure requirements — providing the documentation, data, and procurement evidence your reporting demands.

Stewardship & Integrity

UCEP was founded on Christian-based values — and those values shape how we conduct business, advise clients, and manage the resources entrusted to us.

Stewardship is the foundation of our work. We treat our clients’ assets and long-term interests with the same care we apply to our own operations — and that extends to the natural environment. Integrity means full transparency at every step: disclosed compensation, unbiased options, and advice driven entirely by what serves the client.

Community Impact

For UCEP, service does not end with the engagement. Lasting success is measured by the positive impact we leave on the communities where we live and work.

Community investment is foundational to our culture. Our team actively gives time and resources to local initiatives — not as a marketing exercise, but as an expression of who we are. We also recognize that client-level sustainability decisions carry real community benefits: reduced emissions, efficient infrastructure, and stronger regional economies.
